1 December 2014: New Date for Final Public Hearing into Emergency Healthcare

1 December 2014- Stormont Hotel Belfast 2-6pm
The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission final public hearing into Emergency Health Care will now take place on 1 December 2014 at Stormont hotel from 2-6pm instead of 20 October 2014 as previously listed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. This date has been moved to allow for the Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety to close proceedings.
The hearings are part of the Commission’s Human Rights Inquiry. Participants will be asked questions by the Inquiry Panel. Media are welcome to attend and record hearings. Members of the Public can also observe hearings.
The Inquiry Panel includes NIHRC Chief Commissioner Les Allamby, Commissioner Marion Reynolds, and Professor Paul Hunt, the former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health.
The Commission will publish its final report and recommendations to the N.I Executive in April 2015.
