Commission reports to Universal Periodic Review

The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission has reported to the United Nations on the human rights record of the UK Government and Northern Ireland Executive in advance of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR). The UPR takes place once every four years. All 192 UN Member States are subject to this process. The UK was last reviewed in 2008. Its current human rights record will be examined by UN next year.
