Notes to editors
- The Commission initiated a Human Rights Inquiry into Emergency Healthcare in the summer of 2014. The Commission held public hearings across N.I from September to December 2014. It will publish its final report and recommendations to the Northern Ireland Executive in Spring 2015.
- The Inquiry Panel included NIHRC Chief Commissioner Les Allamby, Commissioner Marion Reynolds, and Professor Paul Hunt, the former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health
