Human Rights Presentation and Discussion at Castle Buildings
The Engagement and Communications team at the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission (NIHRC) delivered a presentation to The Executive Office’s Good Relations & Together Building United Communities T:BUC Division.
There were 30 attendees from the Good Relations & T:BUC Division, whose work includes strategic oversight of the T:BUC Strategy, delivery of the District Council Good Relations Programme and Central Good Relations Programme, oversight of Good Relations focused PEACE Programme work, and sponsorship of the Community Relations Council.
Michael Boyd and Jason McKeown from the NIHRC delivered the presentation which covered the work of the NIHRC, International human rights, Dedicated Mechanism, business, sport, and climate change and human rights.
Ben Crossley from T:BUC said:
“It was great to have Michael and Jason with us. The presentation and discussion afterwards were excellent. There are lots of areas we can pick up on and work together on moving forward”.
