Joint Committee calls for expressions of interest into EU citizenship research

The Joint Committee of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission and the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission is seeking to commission research in the area of continuing EU citizenship rights, opportunities and benefits in Northern Ireland after Brexit. A call for expressions of interest is below, for return by 5pm on Monday 5 August. Please send your completed submissions to: info@nihrc.org
A parallel piece of legislative advice is being commissioned separately on amending the UK statute book to incorporate the ‘birthright’ commitment in the Belfast (Good Friday) Agreement 1998. You will find the specification below for information, given the nexus between the two pieces of work.
