Major Conference on Internet Freedom
Chief Commissioner Professor Michael O’Flaherty was the principal speaker at the recent Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe conference in Dublin which was held from 18-19 June 2012. The high profile conference examined issues surrounding Internet governance and uses of the Internet to facilitate and enhance as well as potentially to limit the exercise of the rights to freedom of assembly and association.
