NIHRC begins Strategic Planning for 2013-2016
The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission is currently going through an exciting new phase of developing its next Strategic Plan for 2013-2016. To do this the Commission is following a human rights based approach involving’ from the very initial stages’ the participation of a wide range of stakeholders in and outside of Northern Ireland.
Our aim is to carry out a dynamic approach to strategic planning’ encouraging and facilitating the input of a range of stakeholders in the process and providing them with thought provoking materials to help shape and inform discussions.
Stakeholders have already attended a series of meetings at the Commission and have given their views on what they think the priority areas should be for the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission.
To assist them in this process they have watched a’ future-gazing’ video on human rights from Professor Francesca Klug OBE.
