Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission responds to legacy legislation announcement
The NI Human Rights Commission will review the recently announced legacy legislation and provide its advice to the UK Government in due course. We will continue to advise the Government of its obligations to ensure all legislation, and any resulting mechanisms to deal with addressing the past in Northern Ireland are fully compliant with domestic human rights law and international human rights standards.
