Register for the Annual Human Rights Statement 2023 launch
Join us for the launch of our 2023 Annual Human Rights Statement taking place on Monday 11 December, from 12pm – 2pm at the Long Gallery, Parliament Buildings, Stormont. There will also be an online live stream if you can't make it in person.
Our Annual Human Rights Statement is a report on the state of human rights issues in Northern Ireland. It is published annually and details the Government's progress in tackling human rights issues in NI.
Mary Lawlor, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights defenders will deliver the keynote address.
The event will be introduced by the Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Alex Maskey, followed by an address from Alyson Kilpatrick, Chief Commissioner of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission.
