Serious concern over legal aid

The Human Rights Commission has expressed serious concern at the growing number of defendants in criminal cases’ including some remanded in prisons’ who are awaiting trial and have no legal representation.
***The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission will be closed this Monday 6 May 2024 for the Bank Holiday. It will reopen on Tuesday 7 May 2024.***
