Statement on the Passing of Her Majesty The Queen
The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission has expressed its sadness at the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
Chief Commissioner Alyson Kilpatrick commented:
"We are deeply saddened at the death of Her Majesty The Queen. We would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Royal Family and the wider public in Northern Ireland mourning this loss. We would like to acknowledge the contribution Queen Elizabeth II made within the Commonwealth towards advancing human rights and to peacebuilding in Northern Ireland.”
