The Human Rights Commission responds to the death of Inez McCormack

NIHRC Chief Commissioner Professor Michael O’Flaherty commented:
‘Inez has been internationally acclaimed as a leading figure for the protection and promotion of human rights in Northern Ireland. She served as one of the first Commissioners at the Commission and her commitment to human rights was beyond measure. The human rights community in Northern Ireland will greatly feel this loss. Our thoughts are with her family at this time’.
