Police policy statement on neutral working environment

The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission welcomes the opportunity to
comment on the draft policy statement on a neutral working environment in
the new Police Service of Northern Ireland.

The policy relates to a number of clear cut, tangible issues regarding the
physical environment such as the material appropriate for display on the walls
of police stations. It also governs, however, the more vexed issues of behaviour and comments.
