Response to consultation on Proposals to Extend Age Discrimination Legislation (Age Goods, Facilities and Services).

The Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission (the Commission) pursuant to Section 69(1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, reviews the adequacy and effectiveness of law and practice relating to the protection of Human Rights. In accordance with this function the following statutory advice is submitted to the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) in response to a consultation on proposals to extend age discrimination legislation to the provision of goods, facilities and services.
